Located within a heritage building in the bustling and eclectic Kloof Street Neighbourhood, Upper Union is the MORE Family Collection’s first foray into restaurants. Upper Union’s style of dining encourages the enjoyment of a shared moment.

Unbridled by a singular cuisine, our globally inspired, concise and somewhat rebellious menu features indulgent dishes split into big plates and smalls.
At Upper Union, it’s all about striving for the perfect bite – the hours of research and creativity, the beautifully sourced produce, and the bold, vibrant, yet balanced flavours that come together to create it. The result: plentiful, punchy flavours packed into dishes that are hearty when it’s cold and flavourful when it’s not.
Upper Union’s mixologists are slinging, stirring and shaking a host of cocktails conceptualised for the space by the award-winning Just Short team.
In addition, we have a carefully curated wine list available, which features small scale and boutique local wineries and winemakers.

Our Space
Upper Union has two levels. On the ground floor we offer both interior and exterior seating on the terrace, together with a pause lounge.
Upstairs is our private dining room which seats eight, our cocktail bar and limited restaurant seating with an accompanying balcony.
